5 Year Worry Free Comprehensive Service Agreement (Terms and Conditions)
Wood Furniture
Stain Coverage
Stains include the following: ink, water, liquid marks or rings from household food and beverages.
Structural coverage
Breakage, accidental scratches (which penetrate through the lacquer surface), gouges, chipping, checking, lifting, cracking, warping,
peeling of finish on solid wood, veneered or laminated furniture, including heat marks resulting from items found in normal household
use and cigarette burns. Failure of assembled joints on solid wood veneered or laminated furniture.
Fabric, Vinyl, and Leather
Stain coverage
All household foods and beverages (excluding chewing gum).
Human saliva, urine, stomach fluids and blood.
Accidental stains caused by ballpoint pen ink.
Structural coverage
Cracking and peeling of leather finish.
Rips, tears, burns and punctures (on leather only).
Structural defects to frames such as warpage and frame breakage.
Separation of seams.
Breakage and bending of metal components such as recliners and sleeper mechanisms, swivel rocker base and springs.
Power reclining mechanism is covered for 2 years.
Zippers and buttons are covered against product failure.
Normal wear, wrinkling and fading should be expected and are not covered. It is likely there will be dye lot color variations on
replacement parts or pieces.
Claims procedure
All claims must be reported to the customer satisfaction department within 5 days of occurrence toll free
1-800-257-2507 – option 9. The customer satisfaction department is open Monday thru Saturday from
9am to 5pm.
*This agreement only covers staining and damage attributed to a single occurrence, this is
not a general cleaning agreement*
Customer Responsibilities
If the customer moves or lives outside our normal trading area (more than 75 miles from our closest retail store or distribution center),
it will be the customer’s responsibility to return their product to their nearest store or distribution center for service.
Service Procedure
Service may include any or all of the following: Crest will provide free professional stain removal or repair advice to aid in immediate
repair or cleaning. If the damage or stain persists, Crest will have the item serviced at no charge by a professional technician in the
customer’s home. If the technician determines the repairs must be made off-site, we do reserve the right to transport the item to our
shop for a more detailed repair. If the technician cannot remove the stain or repair the item, Crest will replace the affected item with
the identical piece. If the affected item cannot be replaced, the customer may select a new replacement item equal in value to the
original purchase price of the damaged item. Repair or replacement is limited to the affected item only. The service agreement will
not continue on the replaced item.
Crest is not responsible for fabric, vinyl and leather dye lot variations, wood finish variations or products discontinued by
manufacturers. It is the responsibility of the claimant to have their furniture easily accessible for repair or replacement.
Cancellation
Crest reserves the right to cancel this service commitment at anytime in the event: A fraudulent claim is made or material
misrepresentation is made or the product is used for commercial or rental use. Any merchandise deemed by a professional service
technician to have an accumulation of damages will result in cancellation of policy.
Exclusions
Each piece of furniture covered under this agreement will be limited to a maximum of 3 claims.
Soiling is defined as a gradual buildup of dirt, dust, body oils and perspiration which can’t be attributed to a single occurrence. This
service commitment is not a cleaning contract and does not cover the cleaning of furniture that is soiled through daily use.
Damage caused by failure to comply with the manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning and use, willful abuse, neglect or misuse of the
covered product. Damage caused by pets, x coded fabrics and non-colorfast fabrics. Furniture sold as-is. Cost of damages from
repairs/cleaning carried out by anyone other than authorized agents of Crest. Natural characteristics that cause appearance variations.
Stains caused by non-approved cleaners. Fading of furniture including fabrics, leather, vinyl and wood from the sun. Damages caused
to product while in transit, moving or relocation. Pilling of fabrics. Factory distressing for appearance. Commercial or rental use.
Damage caused by fraud, intentional acts or acts of God. Marble surfaces, smells attributed to stains, or anything not specifically
mentioned as covered.
This agreement applies to the original purchaser only.
No agreement, guarantee, representation or warranty by an employee shall bind unless it is in writing.
